Sue was my head nurse at United Hospital's Interventional Cardiovascular Department. I worked with Sue from 1991 until she left United. As we worked closely together, we found we had much in common. While Sue was at Swedish Hospital School of Nursing, I was across the street at St. Barnabas Hospital School of Nursing. She supported my work as the nurse educator in the CV lab and we planed staff education and orientation together. Sue was a dedicated nurse and loved taking care of patients. We both enjoyed the outdoors and talked about the miracle of the seasons we experience here. Sue and a friend or sister used our cabin in Hayward, WI for a weekend. Sue talked frequently of her family and close friends. I especially remember her concern over her brother's liver transplant and her relief when it was successful. I will miss Sue's humor and smiling face.
