Obituary of Susan Falk

Susan Elizabeth Falk, 59, of Shoreview, formerly of Cambridge passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at her home. She was born January 13, 1950 in Braham, Minnesota to Russell and Hilma (Anderson) Falk. Susan grew up in Cambridge where she attended school and graduated from Cambridge High School in 1968. After high school she attended nursing school at the Swedish Hospital and earned a degree as a registered nurse. Susan worked at Divine Redeemer Memorial Hospital in St. Paul, MN. She was married in Isanti and moved to Hallock, MN, they later they moved to Mobile, Alabama. In the early 1980's she moved back to Minnesota. She has lived in the Twin Cities area since then, working at United Hospital in St. Paul and North Memorial Hospital in Minneapolis. Susan grew up attending the North Isanti Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and also made a trip to Europe. She liked to make crafts, scrap booking, gardening, yard work, the outdoors, cross country skiing and raced in the Mora Vasaloppet. She was known for her Halloween Parties she planned for her nieces and nephews and loved spending time with her family. Susan was preceded in death by her parents and brother Stuart Falk. She is survived by her siblings Keith and wife Gladys Falk of Harris, Karen Anderson of Wayzata, Kathryn Falk of Plymouth, James and wife Mary Falk of Hermantown, sister-in-law Mary Falk of Cambridge, and many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
