Dear Anita and boys (and their families!) It's been a long time since you lived here in Dale and our families have definitely grown and changed. I remember Aaron sitting on the stump at the end of the driveway waiting for me to get home from work just to sit a spell and visit. We are so sorry to learn of Mitch's passing. We enjoyed having you as neighbors for the time you were here. Please greet all from us and let them know we are thinking of you with deepest sympathy. Hope and healing is coming though your faith. Sincerely, Dennis and Corrine Meyer

So sorry for your loss. I talked with Mitch many times when I would drop off or pick up Wyatt when he went to visit Ryan and I enjoyed my conversations with him. He was a real down to earth guy.

Mitch what can I say. I have so many stories of Anita, you, Casey and I, man we were just babies when the four of us met. I wanted to leave a light hearted message something Anita and Casey can read and smile about during this hard time. Mushrooms need I say more? Casey and I harvested mushrooms from a yard in Lino Lakes I believe it was. We brought them up to the Stacy house, washed them, cut them up, seasoned them, cooked them and ate them. They were so good!!! After dinner we all were sitting in the living room chatting. When I noticed you had a fat lip? Poor Mitch he was worried about how you bumped your lip. We all continued chatting when I noticed not only was the spot where your lip got fat getting bigger, but both of them swelled up like someone put a tire pump on them and pumped them up. The four of us laughing our heads off at your poor lips and you trying to cover your mouth because they looked so darn funny when you laughed, but we panicked and though "we gotta get her to the hospital before they blow up!" So Mitch insisted he was going to ride in the back seat with you and I was going to drive. I put my flashers on and hit highway 35 and made it from Stacy to Forest Lake hospital in 10 minutes. I remember Mitch saying, "Jane slow down your going to get pulled over!" and my response "They'll take one look at her lips and give us an escort." So many good memories, laughing in a laundromat, waiting at the end of the driveway waiting for our knights in shining armor. We were just kids, trying to live a dream. I love you guys Jane

I have never met you face to face, but I saw you every morning when you dropped Aaron off at the High School everyday to catch Bus 69 to go over to Princeton. And the memory of you giving your SON a hug EVERYDAY before he left you, was a picture that will remain in my heart and mind, and sure that it will be with Aaron also. I can remember talking with the kids on Friday afternoons on the way home from Princeton and a few times how excited Aaron was becasue you were picking him up from the High School and you were taking him fishing. The one time he had his fishing poles and needed to take them on the bus and was afraid I would get mad at him. Aaron is going to miss you and I am going to miss the sight I saw with you and your son, that so many kids are lacking. And I am so thrilled to know you found the Lord as your Savior, and that someday you will be able to give Aaron that hug again.
