To The Family of Lorayne (Brink) Serum: I grew up in Halstad, MN and "Miss Brink" was my first grade teacher. I have a sister Veronica from Brooklyn Park, and she informed me of her passing. I just wanted her family to know that she was the BEST first grade teacher that this "country" kid could have hoped for. She was so kind and loving to all the children, and I remember lining up for a hug from her when I would go home from school. I'm sure your family has so many good memories of her, and I just wanted to share with you how she touched my life too.
