Dear Barbara Morris-Patnode, Hi Mom!!! I Hope this manages to find you. I have tried to google/search for you with no luck. Today, Linda's daughter Laura wrote with the sad news of Duane's passing. Kazumi and I send our condolences and haope you are well. Where are you? Red Lake Falls, MN? I hope you have access to the internet. Kazumi and I have been on a strange and long journey since we last saw you. Japan, Canada, Alaska, a lot of travel, and now we find ourselves living and working in Bavaria, Germany. I am an advisor to the European Community on Customs issues. And...I have published two books of travel essays "Encounters-With Remarkable People and Extreme Landscapes" "Elbow Room - A Memoir." Kazumi shows her photography in a gallery in Taos, NM. So, we are well, healthy, and creating. I won't babble on any further until I "hopefully" here from you. Hugs and love, Rob & Kazumi
