Carol Ann - I just heard of your dads passing and I want to send my sincere sympathy to you especially, as I know how much your dad was such an important part of your life as my dad is to me - two years apart in age. You took such good care of your dad and I know this will be a significant loss to you and a most difficult one. You were a great support when my dad had his fall almost two years ago and through all the transitions I went through with him and I want you to know that I am here for you as well, even if it just to talk. We got word of Marvin's passing just this afternoon and want you to know our thoughts are with Linda, Carol, and the rest of the family at this sad time. As a little boy I admired Uncle Marvin's sharp wit, wry of humor, and the feeling of strength and security that he seemed to convey. When I last saw him, some 60 years later, how comforting it was to know that he hadn't changed a bit.
