Suddenly, I just thought about Cindy. I hadn't seen her since we worked together at Control Data. I remember working with her mom too. I briefly dated Brad's wifes brother. Another sad death. I moved. We lost touch. She was the sweetest girl I ever knew, such a good friend. So beautiful inside and out. So, I wanted to see if I could find her on the internet and catch up. I am so sorry to have found this. I don't know what happened to her I would like to know. Again, I am very, very sorry. Jody Nelson

Uncle Mike, Ryan & Jennie, Garret, and Justin- Cindy was such an amazing woman. Every time I think of her, it's with her knitting needles and a smile! Our hearts ache for all of you during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. ~Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy. ~Author Unknown

I met Cindy when I was a young kid while going to work with my Dad. Cindy (and some of the ladies at control data) brought sweets in for us. I thought it must have been the greatest place to work because of the nice ladies.

To Mike and the boys, Cindy's Mother and family, our thoughts and prayers are with you as you move forward during this time of tremendous loss. Cindy was a beautiful caring person who was an inspiration to all that she met. She always had a smile for those she came in contact with. She was willing to pitch in and help with anything that needed doing. My life was better because Cindy was a part of it. Take good care. Our love and prayers are with you. Peggy and Jim Feldt

The day I met Cindy I was given a gift, a gift of a loving, caring and beautiful friend. She was more than a friend to me, we considered each other honorary sisters; we laughed, cried, shared and supported each other through everything. I write this with a very heavy heart as it breaks for her and her family. I invite you all to remember all of the smiles, laughter and light that Cindy brought to so many....I love you Cindy, thank you so very much for being in my life, for being my friend and for being a sister.

Cindy was our Nurse in Homes 5 and 6 at METO, I believe, we all have a mutual feeling of sadness, to lose someone who was truly such a genuine..beautiful person and it showed through while she worked with the clients at METO. Cindy had patience, respect and gave them so much dignity. I looked up to Cindy, as did a lot of other staff at our work. She was a great Nurse and a great person. Always such a calm demaenor and soft spoken. She and I both had our boys, except I had one up on her, I have four boys...Cindy and I were able to share stories about our boys and it's so true that her face would just beam when she spoke of her boys, a sparkle in her eyes, a very big smile. I also remember every Christmas her bringing our staff a big tin of goodies and a card to show us how much she appreciated working as a RN in our homes. I remember having a conversation with another staff after Cindy walked out of the office...It went like this"Wow, she is so beautiful, you would never guess she was in her 50's," Other staff"Ya, no kidding, I want to look that HOT when I am her age!" Cindy, very respected. May she rest in Peace. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. God Bless.

Mike, the boys, & Family: One of my favorite memories of Cindy that I've had in my heart is of a jingle that we sang around the kitchen, "Boo yeah, Boo yeah, kick it, boo yeah, boo yeah, kick it", I write it in tears, but I have a beautiful picture of Cindy's big smile and I can hear her laugh, which makes me smile and remember the warm, loving, woman she was. Cindy truly had a heart of gold and made everyone feel special that she came in contact with! I feel very blessed to have known her, and she will always hold a special place in my heart. I'm thinking of all of you and my thoughts and prayers are with you. Love, Jill

Cindy and I met while taking classes at Cambridge Community College and became study buddies right away. This relationship lasted all through nursing school including car pooling to clinicals. Her boys and my girls went to the same day care provider. Over the years, we became busy and lost touch, but I will never forget her beautiful eyes and smile. She was a wonderful person and I send thoughts and prayers to Mike and her sons.

Cindy was a wonderful nurse to work with! She was always supportive and interested in what the METO clients and staff were involved in for recreation and Special Olympics. She often listened to the stories that were shared about activities, events and competitions that we were all involved in. She was genuiune in her listening, caring and giving. Cindy will be greatly missed. May the family be blessed with God's presence during this very difficult time.

Dear Mike, We have only seen eachother a few times in the many years that have passed. I am your Aunty Myrtle's daughter Patty. Mom called me and told me that Cindy had passed away and I want you to know that my heart aches for you. The only thing that I have known in my life when trouble and heartache comes is to run to Jesus. I tried running from him and I could not deal with life then. I know that Jesus is our Wonderful Counselor, Everlasting Father, God Almighty and Prince of Peace. I will be praying for you and your children for God's peace. Steve and I will keep you in our prayers daily. GOd Bless you Mike. Patty and Steve Leahy

My heartfelt and deepest sympathy for Cindy's family on this very sudden loss. I ask God to wrap His arms around you to give you love and peace during this time. I met Cindy at METO as she was at her very first day and her very first RN position. I took her under my wing and helped her learn the finer aspects of her job of an RN at METO. She was smart, kind, smiled all the time, and very compassionate. Her smile and grace when you saw her will never be forgotten. Cindy loved her family so very much and just beamed when she would share with us. Our desks were together alot in our offices at METO so we knew other well, and we did laugh alot too. I will never, ever forget my friend Cindy. Cindy, rest in peace now with God's arms around you and know that many, many people will miss you. Good-bye Cindy. I'll miss you.

Eddie and family -- We are so shocked to hear about your loss. I have wonderful memories of sitting with Cindy in the stands watching Clayton and Eddie playing softball....these go back to when the kids were little and stuffing sandwiches in the VCR machines, playing in the dirt at ball games....now as we are getting older (mature), I looked forward to sitting and talking about everything with Cindy at the new Cambridge fields and staying in the cabin in Wisconsin for the tournament there. I am going to hold in my heart the memories of one of the most beautiful women I know outward and inward. I am going to miss her so very much. Please let us know if there is anything that we can do.
