Through all these years, I have never known Mike to be anything other than happy. Like all of the the Nelson's, he is eternally light-hearted and quick with a smile. He had a unique talent of making a person feel they are special to him. While visiting Mayville this past summer, I saw Mike for the first time in far too many years. I have never seen him more content! I feel especially fortunate, now, to have had that opportunity to meet his wife and children - who brought him such joy, and made him so proud. He will be deeply missed - and fondly remembered. As you grieve, know that I grieve with you.
