Uncle Maynard always reminded me of dad. They were so close in age, had a smiliar smile and laugh.
I can remember he and dad working together so many times. The story my mom always told about a chocolate pie she made that and your dad said sure had alot of chocolate...they had great laughs over that.
Uncle Maynard was a kind, caring, loving man. I will always remember his great smile and laugh.
May you all find comfort in the memories and love that will forever be in your heart.

Grandpa I have so many wonderful memories of us,From the time I was young spending a few weeks out of my summers there we would wake up so early with your coffee in hand to watch the foxes outside the kitchen window that were far off in the distance chasing each other. After lunch we would walk down to the dairy queen were you would buy me and Justin a ice cream cone and tell us one of your many jokes. I really enjoyed the talks we had about your time in the marines you were my personal history teacher and till this day you are the reason I love history so much. I enjoyed the moments we would watch your baseball games on t.v and yell at the players like they could really hear us =) I loved the moment you first met your great granddaughter serenity, the look in your eyes was unforgettable. Grandpa I am very thankful I had 30 wonderful years with you in my life,you will be dearly missed by me and many more. I love you!!!
