We are shocked and saddened to learn of Lorryn's passing....We hope Lorryn left this world "swiftly, with the twinkle in his eyes, the little chuckle he accompanied by his quick wit and warm smile!!" We have so many special memories of you, Karin, and Lorryn and often reminisce about "Karin and Lorryn"....Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Karin and sons, at this most painful time of your lives. Time & distance may have separated us, but, we have always treasured your friendship and the many memories.....In Christ's Love....Jayne and Scott Stecker

When I heard this news from my parents it really struck me to hear that this happened especially so suddenly. Lorryn was a great family man and a down to earth neighbor. As my brother mentioned one of my fond memories of Lorryn was the yearly Labor Day tractor ride. This brought the neighbors and family together up in Danbury to enjoy some good food and friendship. I remember riding on the trailer having a great time with family and wonderful friends who I got to know through Lorryn's family. Lorryn always had a smile on his face whenever I talked to him and would always ask how things were going when it came to school or sports. He would even sometimes give me a few pointers on how to better myself when it came to football. Lorryn cared about everyone and would go out of his way to help out a friend in need. I will miss his presence and know he will be watching over Bass Lake for all of us. He will be greatly missed by all.

One of the best memories I have with Lorryn and I am sure many other people share this with me. Every Labor Day weekend, all of us neighbors would always get together for a potluck and it would always have amazing food. Then after that we would always go on a tractor ride and all of us would sit on a trailor behind full of hay bales. Lorryn always loved doing that for us, you can tell he was so happy when we went on those tractor rides. Lorryn had a very good heart and he will be missed by many.
