To the Kippy Bloomquist families I am so sorry to hear about the loss of a great guy. It has sadden my heart to see and hear the sadness of everyone that has gotten to know Kippy. I remember babysitting Kippy and Tootie and that family meant a lot to me.. I am truly blessed to have known Kippy and his family! You are in my thoughts and prayers today as you say your goodbyes to Kippy. He is in peace now and he has fought his battle and won.. May God's arm comfort you and give you strength during this difficult time and always remember he will always be in your heart and in your memories! Keep the memories going for everyone to know how wonderful your son, brother, husband, father and grandfather he truly was. Love to you all!

Shannon and family, My heart breaks for you during this difficult time. Thoughts and prayer to all of you. May you see God's light on the path ahead When the road you walk is dark. May you always hear, Even in your hour of sorrow, The gentle singing of the lark. When times are hard may hardness Never turn your heart to stone, May you always remember when the shadows fall— You do not walk alone.

Live, laugh, love. It's become a familiar saying. People hang it on their walls. They sign emails with it. But do they really truly embrace it? The Blomquists did. Kip did. From the time he was diagnosed, Kip and Shannon and the kids chose to LIVE. They went to Jamaica. They had parties. They kept in touch with people they cared about. They watched Maddie come into the world and Kip even became a grandpa. They LAUGHED. Hard to believe. Would any of us be able to laugh when faced with such adversity and challenge? I'm not sure. No one ever knows how they would deal with such a tragic set of circumstances. But I witnessed firsthand and read numerous accounts of the ways Kip and Shannon were able to find humor and happiness. They LOVED. Most of all, they loved. They loved one another. They loved their kids. They loved their extended family and their tons of friends. They shared the ups and downs, the good and bad. But through it all, their love for life and for others stood out above all else. We have been inspired, not just to read the words, but to truly embrace what it means to live, laugh and love. I am one of many that feel very fortunate to have had my life touched by Kip and his amazing beautiful family, and I will never be the same. No doubt Kip is in Heaven enjoying his 'new body' not burdened with ALS. With faith we know that one day he will be reunited with his family and loved ones again. You have my sincere sympathy as I know how you will miss his physical presence.

Shannon and kids, I am very saddened that Kip has passed away. Even though we all new this day was coming it just really sucks. I know this is a very difficult time for all of you and I hope you find strength in your family, friends and God. They will all be there to support you and help you through these next days, weeks and months. Kip touched many lives, mine included, and I will miss him deeply. Love and Prayers, Randy

Tootie, Thinking about you and your family, Kip was a great brother, husband, son, and uncle. Cherish the great memories that you will hold in your hearts forever. Kaye & Kevin I'M FREE Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free I'm following the path God has chosen for me. I took His hand when I heard him call; I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, To laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way; I've now found peace at the end of day. If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joys. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss; Oh yes, these things, I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow Look for the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full, I savored much; Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch. Perhaps my time seems all to brief; Don't lengthen your pain with undue grief. Lift up your heart and peace to thee, God wanted me now-He set me free Author: Shannon Lee Moseley.
