Dear Paul, Amy, Erik and Marlys,
We are so very sorry for the burden of grief you are each carrying. There are no words that can adequately express our heartfelt sympathy for your profound loss. Annie was a godly woman full of grace and deepest compassion. She inspired us all with her gifts of encouragement, genuine kindness and generosity. She had the most uniquely wonderful way of intently listening and responding with both wisdom and sensitivity. And of course the joy in her laughter will never be forgotten! She taught us all what it really means to walk with the Lord in His ways, always; in every circumstance. What a faithful prayer partner she was. We miss her so much. May God with His gentle strength lift each of you to a place of peace and comfort as He surrounds you with His everlasting love. We'll continue to pray for you.

Hi Paul and your family, I was so shocked and sad to see the news of Annie in the paper today. My prayers are with all of you. Thanks for the wonderful pictures on this website to see Annie and all of you. You can tell that she was surrounded by so much love. Paul, it wasn't that long ago that you, Paul and Brian would sneak over in the putt putt boat on Pelican to ditch a few minutes from lawn boy duty...that Annie and I danced on stage with awful costumes to some crazy Hootenanny song.... and you guys played your band music off to the side of the stage on the floor... We are so sorry to hear of the loss of Annie. It seems such a short time ago that we were all singing together in the Fair Hills hoot and enjoying our boy band. We all fell in love that summer...with each other and our future spouses. It was amazing. It is difficult to even begin to express how sad we are, words are just so inadequate. Paul, Amy, and Erik: Our deepest sympathy to you and all of your family. When ever I read any of the posts by Annie or Paul, it was always so touching to all who read them. I am not sure who was supporting who during Annie's long battle with cancer. I pray that you all find the peace and serenity in time. Marlys and Family, So sorry for your loss of your beautiful daughter. It was a long journey for your family and I pray that God with hold you up and restore your strengh each day. She has gone to a better place and no more suffering and pain. I remember Annie as a young girl who was so full of life and had so many friends. My son Bob was her classmate and we were talking the other night after hearing Annie was near the end of her lifes journey and has lots of fun memories of her. Paul, Amy, Erik and Marlys, My heart is overwhelmed at the moment. You are so correct that Annie was a living example of what it means to live a grace-filled life. I am sure she would say she had much more to learn. The hope of heaven is a precious gift that will give us a blessed reunion with our Savior and with Annie and with others who have gone before us. Definitely looking forward to the reunion. ETERNITY still is hard to fathom in our finite minds. No more good-byes. No more tears. Keep that "hope" in your hearts.
