We were so sorry to hear about your loss. Ione left a wonderful legacy in all of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren! The video tribute was just beautiful. We hope you find comfort in all the wonderful memories you shared with her.

An era has gone with Ione's passing. She was one hard working woman. She got the job of head cook in the Johnson family at an early age. My mother would go out and help her at thrashing time but otherwise it would be her and Doris. She is now at rest.
I wish I could be at the memorial service to visit with what is left of the family but it is a long way from Texas. I am 81 years old now.
