When me and Great Uncle Marvin met one Thanksgiving, it got me a new leader to look up to. I can't tell you epic adventures we had, but I can tell you stories from (our talks in) that apartment.Or how we brought him groceries and the Paulson lutefisk. Or how he had taught me to look through a microscope thing (he used) to read. He told me about his days as a sailor and surveyor. He also showed me his newest books about his life. I remember the humorous scene when I asked him if he saw Martian Luther King Jr's "I have a Dream Speech" and he laughed and said he didn't but listened to it on the radio. But the thing I'll remember most about him is his art curiosity. I love the copy of a mountain one he gave me. One important item I learned from Uncle Marvin is that you can do anything you want no matter how you look or your age.
