Jim was my mother's (Berit) lawyer. He treated her so well and she thought very highly of him, as do I. She always enjoyed her visits to his office--he listened to her and respected her throughout the years. When mom passed away, Jim was wonderful in helping us with her estate. He was a great lawyer and a great man. We've lost a good one! My sincere sympathy to Jim's family and friends. Keeping you in my prayers.

Jimmy was a true professional and a good guy. On a few occasions I had the opportunity to interview him while I was at The Star newspaper in Cambridge, and I found him to be honest and kind. I am so sorry to hear of his passing, and I'd like to extend sincere sympathy to his family.

Jim will be greatly missed. We were visiting the other day here at the bank how you learned something at each loan closing at his office. He was always great to visit with, and incredibly helpful on the legal side. He leaves behind a great family, which is a big compliment to the man he was. I met Jim through our mutual friend Doug Fredlund. The three of us met to form the band mentioned in Jim's obituary. Jim was then, and remained throughout the rest of his life, a great guy; always kind & helpful. Jimmy was a great neighbor, a great mentor, a wonderful father and a fantastic grandfather. He was a very patient neighbor who had the pleasure of his yard being the home run fence for my sons never ending baseball games played with tennis balls! He always was interested in what was happening in Cambridge and cared deeply about our community. He gave my wife and I good advice when we needed it and was always welcoming. We will miss all of the of the excitement revolving around restored cars and antiques! Thank you for being an important part of our lives! You will be missed!
