My mom was our family's prayer warrior. She prayed for all of us, she prayed for us and with us, through tough situations. She never stopped praying, that is, until her memory gave out on her. I miss you, Mom.
Sweetness! Kindness. Aunt Lois was my Dad's only sibling making her my last link of that generation to the whole Hovinen side of my family history. I feel the intimacy of that disconnect as well as the loss of this totally adorable little lady. It was my privilege to spend "girlfriend time" together with her during my rather frequent visits to Cambridge while my own Mother lived out her last few years there. We had such fun! She was such a joy! I am profoundly saddened by her passing...
These past 30 years on South Cypress are very dear to us...the kindness of neighbors expressed in pleasant street conversations, Christmas Tea's, and at times just watching neighbors and their children and grandchildren enjoying family time together in the yard. We have been blessed by our friendship with Art and Lois...thank you for the memories.

My deepest sympathies to my husband and my in-laws at this sad time. I only met Lois once many years ago. She had insisted that I get into a family picture. That meant a lot to me. You will be dearly missed. Until we meet again!
